Color Blending

Knitting our hearts together is not always an easy or comfortable process, but we can only display the love of Christ to a world that badly needs it when we are unified ourselves.

Color Blending

I am blue, with hopes and dreams
Inspiring me to new heights each day,
Flying to new sights revealed,
I chase the sea, and dwell in the sky—

You are red; your actions drive you,
You march with passion in each day,
You’re ahead in zeal and fire,
Your life a flash that gets things done;

When we meet we clash with friction

Threads

As my heart has been being bonded as one in love with my wonderful bride-to-be, it has been amazing to see how love covers so many faults and failures...
I believe that our fellowship together as believers should do the same thing, as we grow together into a love of Christ which has washed away our sins.

I am a thread
of moments touched by God
Spun together
as a cord prepared for use
And yet alone
my life cannot be used for much…

But other threads
of moments touched by God
Join together
with hearts that flow with love;
As we are one
we see how love can change the world…

My life is woven
into the lives of others;
We’re knit in love
our lives become a blanket
To cover over
a multitude of sins…

White

Isa 1:18 (ASV) - Come now, and let us reason together, saith Jehovah: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

My life was speckled by the past,
The ashes of my sins made marks
Which mingled with the crimson dots
Of blood that fell from a broken heart,

And over all, a dismal gray
That fell like fog since hope had died—
All this reminding me each day
The failures that have chained my life.

But in the midst of clouds of gray
Six-pointed crystals fell like rain,
Before my eyes I saw each one
Enveloping the specks of shame—

My heart transformed by a sheet of white,
The gloom was broken by the light—
My failures lost forevermore
As mercy reached me in my plight;

My life was speckled by the past
But now there’s not a mark to show—
Your love has healed my heart and soul
As my life became as white as snow…

Drenched

I have been blessed far beyond my wildest dreams...

Drenched

The blessings fall and drench my heart
With love beyond my wildest dreams—
And in the rain I see a part
Of how God’s grace has washed me clean—

For as I’m washed my fears now fade,
Replaced by mercy’s fragrant scents—
And in the rain I’m newly made,
Adorned in life which love has sent…
