Behemoth
The nightmares of my imagination
Take form as giant beasts,
With bones like iron, limbs like trees,
And mouths complete with teeth.
Will they destroy the realms of beauty
And smash my sanity?
Will they wreak havoc in my soul
And cause my heart to flee?
No, they will graze in harmony,
As gentle sauropods;
The things I thought would ruin me
Display the love of God.
Take form as giant beasts,
With bones like iron, limbs like trees,
And mouths complete with teeth.
Will they destroy the realms of beauty
And smash my sanity?
Will they wreak havoc in my soul
And cause my heart to flee?
No, they will graze in harmony,
As gentle sauropods;
The things I thought would ruin me
Display the love of God.
