A poem looking forward to the greatest abolition the world will ever know...

Abolition

The proclamation was made years ago,
But now the day is finally here
For all the slaves to be redeemed
Now that the way is fully cleared…

The tyrant, Death, will be enslaved
And banished from the universe…
Then all his captives are set free
Since Christ’s abolished sin’s curse.

Now we partake in the greatest party
That history has ever known;
The chains of death are smashed forever,
And God has claimed us as His own!
