Uninspired

Here is the second one:

Uninspired

Petals fade, then let go;
Drift to the barren ground,
Where love has died,
But is never forgotten…

My pen has run dry;
Inspiration fled,
Sensing the coming snow…

The temperatures dive,
Hope is frozen,
My heart is captured
By the icy claws of winter…

But I have always painted sunsets,
Adored the falling snow,
Because I believe—
I must believe—
That someday, from the barren ground
Where love has died,
(But is never forgotten)…

Flowers will bloom again.

I like it. =D Sometimes I feel my inspiration die only to be brought to life even more beautifully a little while later, so I can relate.

Because I believe—
I must believe—

And now we who are in Christ see with unveiled eyes and also have given (and continuously so) to us the full truth of the "mysteries" of Christ... no longer "must", because we now know.

Wow, that is a neat insight. Thanks! :-)
