I’m thankful for the rain you gave,
I asked you for a couple drops—
The cup is running over,
To grant a multitude of crops;

I’m drenched by grace, and humbly bow—
Each blessing dropped is undeserved,
All I can do is weep my thanks,
And ask, in turn, how I can serve.
